The City Marathon Wiesbaden 2026 is a weekend running festival organised by Sporthilfe Wiesbaden e.V. in partnership with WEC GmbH, presented as a multi-distance urban running weekend in Wiesbaden, Hesse, Germany. The event spans Friday and Saturday (19–20 June 2026) with a Schulklassenlauf (school-class run) and a public expo, bib collection and a pasta party on Schlossplatz on 19 June, followed by the main programme of marathon, half marathon and shorter races on 20 June. The marathon is staged as four laps of an officially measured urban course that starts on Wilhelmstraße and finishes on Schlossplatz; the weekend includes a race village with expo stands, on-site services and a finish/podium area on Schlossplatz.
Races are chip-timed with integrated timing in the bib, aid stations and medical support provided along the course. Services include secure bag drop, showers/changing, optional bib shipping, participant pasta party and on-site photography and engraving services. Participants receive a finisher medal (all distances) and the marathon entry includes a finisher shirt; other distances can purchase shirts. The event promotes spectator-friendly finishes on Schlossplatz and provides a free RMV public-transport ticket to entrants for travel within the RMV area. The programme accommodates children and school-class races as well as competitive marathon runners, with pacemakers and race-day logistics provided.
