Chelmsford Marathon & Half Marathon

Chelmsford Marathon & Half Marathon is a mass-participation road running event held in Central Park, Chelmsford, organised and promoted by Nice Work. The event on Sunday 11 October 2026 offers both a full marathon and a half marathon on accurately measured courses that are often used for good-for-age qualification. The routes run through tree-lined avenues of Central Park and out onto undulating rural country lanes, and the event supports Little Havens Children’s Hospice as its primary charity beneficiary.

Race day features a well-appointed event village, enthusiastic marshals and organised timing and photography services, with pacers provided for both distances subject to availability. A six-hour overall cut-off applies and entrants are asked to contact [email protected] if they expect to take longer.
