Cedartown Wheelchair Athlete Training Camp & Wheelchair 5K

Welcome to the official Cedartown Wheelchair Athlete Training Camp and C5K race registration site. This year, we are thrilled to host the 21st-annual C5K, and we are excited to see what this Paralympic year will bring!! Our partnership with the Shepherd Center and Atlanta Track Club Peachtree 10K is a true honor. We stand united to support the sport of wheelchair racing in Georgia for not only our local communities but also for athletes from around the world.

Event Overview

The 5K race course will remain the same as previous years on the streets of Cedartown - the C5K delivers the fastest 5K times in the world. The course is technical with some climbs and downhills on smooth roads.

Course Description & Map

Divisions for Men & Women include Open, Masters, Grandmasters, and T52 Quad.

Schedule

Registration Opens March 27, 2025 at 11:33am EDT. The 5K race will take place on July 2 at 6:00 PM EDT.

Registration & Pricing

$180 for Camp registration includes transportation to and from Atlanta, 3-night accommodations, and all meals. $30 for 5K race registrations only.

What to Bring

Participants should bring their racing chairs and any personal items needed for the camp.

Race Day Info

Race day is July 2, 2025, with the race starting at 6:00 PM EDT.

Awards & Categories

Prize money and custom trophies will be awarded to the top 3 in all IPC wheelchair divisions, including masters and grandmasters.

Parking & Transportation

Athletes will be picked up at Atlanta Airport on June 30th.
