The Cancer Research Race for Life - Westpoint Exeter is a charity running and obstacle event held at Westpoint Exeter to raise funds for Cancer Research UK. The event day brings together a mix of non-competitive 10K, 5K and 3K runs alongside the Pretty Muddy obstacle options, offering something for a wide range of ages and abilities. The Race for Life ethos is inclusive and supportive, encouraging participants to take part at their own pace while fundraising for life‑saving cancer research.
The Westpoint Exeter course uses paths and fields around the showground and features mixed terrain including road, tarmac pathways and grass, with measured routes for accuracy. Pretty Muddy provides an additional fun, obstacle‑style 5K for adults and a supervised kids' race with age guidance, making the day family friendly. Participants are asked to arrive 30 to 45 minutes before their stated start time to check in and prepare for their allocated wave.
