On Saturday, September 20, 2025, the North Royalton Family Y will host its Seventh Annual Bubble Blast Kathleen DePiero Memorial 5K! Proceeds from the event will benefit the Y’s Annual Campaign, granting area youth and families the opportunity to access Y programs and services, such as Swim Lessons, Youth Sports Leagues, and Before and After School Childcare they otherwise could not afford. The race is dedicated to the memory of Kathleen DePiero, a former board member who is credited with the inception of the event in 2016, and was a tremendous advocate for youth and families in our community.

Registration (cash or check only)/Packet Pickup - 7 AM
5K Run/1 Mile Walk - 8 AM
5K awards will be given to the top three overall male and female runners and age group winners.
Bring your registration confirmation and a valid ID for packet pickup.
Timing: 5K: Chip-timed, 1 Mile: Untimed
Parking is available at the YMCA and surrounding areas.
