Bristol Backyard Ultra 2026 is a last-one-standing ultramarathon held at Blaise Castle Estate in Bristol. Competitors run a single, fully marked loop each hour and must finish each lap within the hour to continue; the event ends when only one runner completes an extra lap. The format is deliberately simple and spectator-friendly, making it accessible for first-time ultra runners while still challenging experienced athletes. Full day-by-day timings and the final mandatory kit list will be confirmed by the organiser closer to the event.
The event provides a central basecamp with an aid station offering hot and cold drinks and basic snacks, plus space for runners to rest between loops.
