The Brigittenauer Bezirkslauf is a district running day held in Vienna’s 20th district, with the 2026 edition scheduled for 14 May 2026. The event day features a main ca. 10 km district race (BL4) plus shorter mass-participation events including a 4.5 km run, a 4.5 km Nordic walking race and several childrens races; the organiser is WAT Brigittenau and the start/finish is at Sportzentrum ASK Brigittenau (Hopsagasse 5). The event is described on the official site brigittenauerbezirkslauf.at and uses Time Now Sports / my.raceresult for registration and results distribution.
Practical arrangements highlighted by the organiser include start-number collection from 08:30, on-site late entries up to 30 minutes before each race (small extra fee), and a StarterSackerl (starter bag) for online registrants; certificates are made available online after the races and children receive medals. Routes are published (Google Maps embed) but may be amended in case of district construction works, and the programme gives special honours for the days fastest competitors and fastest local (Brigittenau) athletes.
