Bremer Brückenlauf 2026 brings a vibrant summer running festival to Bremen’s waterfront on 4 July, showcasing scenic routes over the Weser, the Kleine Weser and the Werdersee. With the start and finish by the Weserwehr on the Hastedter Osterdeich, participants experience the city’s maritime flair from a fresh perspective. The event blends fast, officially measured road courses with a friendly atmosphere and waterside views. It is designed to welcome both competitive runners and recreational participants.
The programme spans a half marathon, 10 km and 5 km, alongside children’s races and the playful 5 km Unterwäschelauf. All main distances are DLV‑measured and chip‑timed, with downloadable certificates and free professional photos after the race. Support on the day includes on‑course refreshment points, post‑finish provisions and a clothes‑bag drop, with tram access recommended for convenience. From 2026 an inclusive non‑binary competition category is offered, with podium honours subject to minimum participation.
