Breisgau Triathlon Middle Distance (35th Breisgau Triathlon Middle Distance)

The Breisgau Triathlon Mitteldistanz ("Mitteldistanz") is the middle‑distance edition of the Breisgau Triathlon held as the 35th running of the event and staged as part of the Baden‑Württemberg championships (BWTV). The race features an open‑water swim in the Müllersee (Riegel), a closed‑road bike loop through Malterdingen and neighbouring communities, and a run finishing at Sportplatz Malterdingen. The organiser is Triathlon Nördlicher Breisgau e.V., who publish the official athlete information, entry rules and technical regulations for the BW championship categories.

The event offers individual and relay (Staffel) entries, championship classifications by age group and overall prizes for top finishers. Race services include official timekeeping using transponders, multiple feed stations on the run, finish catering and Sportograf photography; a pasta party and pre‑race briefings are also part of the weekend programme.
