The Bibermann Triathlon is staged as a single-day triathlon festival in Bleckede (official German title: Bibermann Triathlon) and combines multiple race formats for adults, youth and relays on the same day. The programme includes a Volkstriathlon (Sprint/Volksdistanz), an Olympische Distanz, a Sprint-distance Oberliga race and several Schüler- & Jugendduathlon categories, each with dedicated check-in windows and start procedures. RSC Lüneburg e.V. organises the event at the Bleckeder Elbhafen and publishes race rules under the DTU framework; participant limits and tiered entry fees apply per race and registration window.
The event is notable for its river swim in the Bleckeder Elbhafen, compact race village logistics and sustainability measures (organisers explicitly state they will not distribute swim caps this year). Race timing uses foot transponders with matting and there are podium ceremonies for overall and age-group winners; relays are offered for both sprint and Olympic distances. Competitors must follow DTU competition rules and local safety notices, including helmet requirement on the bike course and the water-temperature contingency that may convert a triathlon to a duathlon.
