The Valentinslauf returns on 15 February 2026 in the Gärten der Welt, Berlin, inviting runners to celebrate Valentine’s Day on scenic loops through the landscaped gardens. Now in its sixth edition, the event welcomes both individuals and pairs and offers short, accessible distances on asphalted park paths with gentle elevation and clear route marking. The event is family- and beginner-friendly and explicitly welcomes walkers, Nordic walkers, baby joggers and prams.
Participants can take part solo or in pairs across three distances (3 km, 5 km and 10 km). There is a romantic pair classification across all distances: pairs compete under the fun rule that both partners must cross the finish line within three seconds of each other. Chip timing is integrated into the bib. On-course support includes a refreshment station, with colourful finish-line refreshments (including mulled wine) and a paired finisher medal as a distinctive keepsake; winner trophies and material prizes are also awarded.
The course is flat, looped and run on smooth asphalt paths, making it suitable for a wide range of abilities. The venue is easy to reach by public transport and offers parking options nearby to ensure a smooth event-day experience.
