The Bergedorfer Citylauf is a popular city-centre running event held in Bergedorf, Hamburg, known officially as "Bergedorfer Citylauf". The one-day event brings together multiple age groups across several distances, attracting thousands of participants and a lively local crowd. Races range from a Bambinilauf for the youngest runners to a 10 km individual and relay option, all routed through the Bergedorf Innenstadt with views of the castle and local churches.
The event features a festival-style finish area with Zielverpflegung where all runners are invited to enjoy food and refreshments, plus sponsor tents, activities and a tombola for spectators. Volunteers play a central role and are offered benefits such as an exclusive volunteers' shirt and catering in the Volunteers Lounge. Registration opens on 1 January 2026 and detailed rules and participant information are published in the event Ausschreibung and the organiser's documents.
