KT‑Stadion, Am Marschweg 18, Kaltenkirchen, Germany
The 9. Benefizlauf Lions Club Alveslohe is a charity six‑hour run taking place on Sunday 21 June 2026 at the KT‑Stadion in Kaltenkirchen. Organised by Lions Club Alveslohe in collaboration with Kaltenkirchener Turnerschaft (KT), the event is held on a 400‑metre tartan track and is DLV‑approved. The main competition runs from 10:00 to 16:00 and uses electronic timing with performances documented on certificates. The format allows participants to complete as many laps as they wish, with a minimum requirement of two laps (800 m).
There is also a Kids Run for 5–15 year‑olds with a maximum duration of one hour. Fundraising is central to the event: each participant registers one or more "Laufpaten" who pledge at least €0.50 per completed lap, and runners with patrons are entered into a tombola offering prizes. Entry fees are €10 for adults and €5 for children, and runner‑friendly refreshments, food and drinks (including cakes and sausages) are available on site. The event is staged in all weather and welcomes both competitive runners and community participants supporting charitable causes.
