The Spendenlauf Barsinghausen (also promoted as the 2. Barsinghäuser Fuchsbau Spendenlauf) is a community charity run held to benefit FUCHSBAU – Trauerbegleitung für Kinder und Jugendliche e.V. The event follows a lap-based fundraising model in which participants and teams secure sponsors who donate a sum for each completed lap. Organised by TSV Barsinghausen and staged at the REWE Sportpark, the day combines running with a family festival atmosphere rather than a fixed-distance race format. The 2024 edition raised over €20,000, and the 2026 event continues that local fundraising tradition.
Beyond the laps, the event offers family-friendly attractions such as face painting, a bouncy castle, bungee trampoline, a Kaffee & Kuchen buffet, live music, a tombola and auction items. There is a pre-event Hundestaffel (dog sprint/demonstration) and on-site ASB medical support, emphasising both community engagement and participant safety.
