Baldeggerseelauf

The Baldeggerseelauf is a community-focused road running event centred on the village core of Hitzkirch and staged around the scenic Baldeggersee. The next edition of the Baldeggerseelauf is scheduled for Saturday, 6 June 2026 and features a festival atmosphere in the Dorfzentrum with start and finish lines located in the village. The event is organised locally by STV Hitzkirch and attracts runners of all ages and abilities who appreciate a lake-side circuit and a traditional Seetal running experience.

The programme centres on a main 10 Meilen (16.1 km) race around the lake and includes a 4.5 km Schlosslauf, children’s and youth runs plus a team relay format suitable for clubs and corporate teams. Online registration is open and the organiser offers an early-bird discount for the 10 Meilen when registering by 31 January 2026; personalised bibs are available if entered by 26 May and bib collection takes place on race day. The Baldeggerseelauf is also one of the four Seetal Läufe that count towards prizes in the Döbeli Seetal Trophy, providing competitive incentives alongside the family-friendly elements.
