Get ready to don your best green gear and be a part of the vibrant "sea of green" on Sunday, March 16th! Our electrifying event will take you on a thrilling, USATF‑certified 5K point-to-point run through the heart of downtown Baltimore, followed by an incredible post-race celebration at Power Plant Live. This St. Patrick's Day Shamrock 5K is also the kickoff to the B3 Distance Series.
The certified 5K course begins at Charles & Mulberry Streets, proceeds south along the parade route to Conway Street, east to Light Street, south to Key Highway to a turnaround near Jackson Street, then returns on Key Highway to Light Street to Pratt Street and finishes on Market Place between Pratt and Lombard Streets at Power Plant Live.
Packet pickup (race day) will be held Sunday, March 16 — pickup window: 10:30 AM–12:00 PM (limited race-day packet pickup ends at noon). The in-person race is scheduled for March 16, 2025 (race start time listed at 1:00 PM for the in-person 5K).
Registration pricing (as listed): $65.60 / $60.30 incl. $5.30 fee. Price increases after February 28, 2025 at 11:59 PM EST. Please check the event website for the most up-to-date pricing and ticketing details.
Packet pickups will be held at various locations leading up to the race and limited pickup is available on race day. Participants should bring their registration confirmation and a valid photo ID for packet pickup. Check the event website for specific pickup locations and times.
Awards will be presented to the top three Male, Female, and Non‑Binary runners in the open division, and to the first Male, Female, and Non‑Binary masters (age 40+).
Race day will be busy in Baltimore City; allow extra time for parking and travel. Street closures near the start line (Charles & Mulberry) will go into effect at 11:30 AM. Arrive early to allow time for packet pickup and staging.
