AdventureWalk: Sächsische Schweiz

The AdventureWalk: Sächsische Schweiz is a multi-day walking event through the sandstone landscapes of Saxon Switzerland, with multi-town starts and a shared finish in Bad Schandau. Distances of 50 km, 30 km and 20 km run across scenic trails, gorges and viewpoints such as Schwedenlöcher, Wolfsschlucht and the Brand, and official GPX tracks and course markings are provided. The event is presented by the AdventureWalk brand and organised by Laufszene Events GmbH, emphasising sustainable trail use and public-transport access for participants.

The format uses 15-minute start waves from multiple start locations (Dresden, Pirna and Königstein) and includes staffed aid stations, medical support and baggage transfer to the finish. Participants receive timing without placings, a finisher medal and printed certificate, a start bag with route guide and on-event VVO public-transport ticket, and there are cut-offs in place for safety and nature protection. Routes and GPX files are published in advance but noted as subject to change by the organiser.
