The Achenseelauf is a scenic lakeside running event centred on Pertisau at the Achensee and is billed each year as a panoramic race around Tirol's largest lake. The 2026 edition of the Achenseelauf takes place on 6 September 2026 and comprises four races including the main Achenseelauf 23 km, a 14.5 km Fitnesslauf, a two-leg staffellauf (14.5 km + 8.5 km) and a children's run of 0.4–1.7 km. Runners follow a mixed-surface course with long lake views and mountain backdrops of the Rofan and Karwendel ranges, and the event identity is presented on the organiser's site as "Achenseelauf" in the original German. The field is open to recreational and competitive participants with age-class rankings noted on the official pages.
Logistics are centred on Pertisau with the finish area and bib pickup at the Fischergut in Pertisau and the main start for the 23 km listed at the Feuerwehrhaus (Pertisau fire station). Entries are chip-timed (Race Result system), bibs are distributed on Saturday and Sunday before the race, there is a cut-off at the Achenkirch aid station (not classified if missed by the posted time) and a prize-giving ceremony is scheduled at the finish area around 15:00 on race day. The event page also describes luggage transfer from the start to the finish, several aid stations along the course and on-site services such as parking and finish-area catering. Participants receive final bib information by email in the event week and late on-site registration is possible subject to the published deadlines.
