The Abraxas-Triathlon 2026 is a community triathlon organised by Brander Schwimmverein 1973 e.V. and staged in Aachen-Brand at the Schwimmhalle Aachen-Brand. The event combines pool swimming with closed, traffic-controlled bike loops and short run circuits, catering for children, youth, juniors and open-age participants as well as relay teams. ChampionChip automatic timing is used and the organiser publishes starter lists and detailed route maps in advance to aid competitors and volunteers.
This one-day event on 3 May 2026 features sprint and supersprint formats alongside multiple age-group categories and relay classes, plus a rookie preparation course for newcomers. Race day services include aid stations and post-race refreshments, and the organiser operates standard DTU-based competition rules with mandatory helmet use and chip timing requirements. Entrants are advised to consult the organiser pages for final start lists, pack pickup instructions and any last-minute changes.
