One Helluva Ride is the Ann Arbor Bicycle Touring Society's signature annual cycling event, scheduled for Saturday 11 July 2026 with start and finish at Chelsea High School in Chelsea, Michigan. The ride offers multiple route options to suit a broad range of cyclists, including paved road courses and a gravel option; for 2026 the paved distances are listed as 21, 41, 62 and 100 miles and a separate 42-mile gravel route. Proceeds from the event support AABTS philanthropic activities such as helmet donations, outreach and cycling education across Michigan.
Registration for the 2026 edition opens 15 March and online registration closes in early July; check the official event page for the exact closing date and registration portal. Check-in for pre-registered riders is noted to start at 06:30 and all rides leave from Chelsea High School; routes have been updated for 2026 and may change due to road conditions. Participants are provided with rest-stop snacks and beverages and a lunch served by Slows Bar BQ, and merchandise (for purchase) such as T-shirts and socks is available via the event's registration/store links.
