The 9. Progesund Frauenlauf Jena 2026 is a women-focused 5 km event held in Jena's Paradies area that aims to encourage women to take up sport and foster strength, self-confidence and self-determination. Organised by Laufservice Jena und Partner with progesund Jena as a local partner, the race combines a timed mass-participation run with inclusive options for walkers and participants with prams. The event features music, childcare on request and a finish-area atmosphere intended to make participation social and celebratory.
The course uses paved park paths around the Südbad/Strandschleicher area and emphasises accessibility and community; walking and Nordic walking are explicitly permitted.
