The Flensburg liebt dich Marathon is an annual, community-focused running festival in Flensburg, Germany — the 2026 edition takes place on 6 September 2026 (8th edition). With guiding mottos such as “Für diesen Lauf schlägt unser Herz” and “Aus Liebe zum Sport. Aus Liebe zur Region.”, the event emphasises regional pride, volunteers and an uplifting, family‑friendly race‑day atmosphere for local and cross‑border participants.
Race day includes multiple distances (full marathon, relay marathon, half marathon, 10 km, 5 km and children’s runs). The event uses a looped course around the Förde (roughly 10.55 km per loop, adapted for each distance) with the start and finish located at the Südermarkt in the city centre. Official runner information, regulations and course maps are provided on the event website.
Registration is online only (the organiser operates a registration deadline — typically one week before the event). After the race the organiser publishes official results, finish videos and professional photos; supporting pages and FAQs (including bilingual German–Danish materials in recent editions) help participants prepare. Additional logistics, route maps and media links are available from the official site.
Start/Finish area: Südermarkt, Innenstadtgebiet, 24937 Flensburg, Germany
