The 8. SOPREMA NECKAR RUN – Mannheim is a one‑day running event held on 19 April 2026 with a range of distances for adults, youths and children. The highlight is the SOPREMA Neckar Run 10.0 km, run as a two‑lap course on a largely asphalted and surfaced route that is described as flat and signposted kilometre by kilometre. The event sits beside the Neckar at the Sportzentrum TSV 1846 Mannheim and is organised by the SOPREMA Triathlon Team in cooperation with TSV Mannheim von 1846 e.V.
This edition forms the first race of the engelhorn sports Brooks Laufcup 2026, offering prize money for top finishers plus medals and age‑class awards, and includes dedicated youth and Bambini races to encourage family participation. Practical arrangements published in the official Ausschreibung include packet pickup on the day and the day before, limited changing and shower facilities at the sports centre, and on‑site medical provision.
