The 7. Xantener Stadioncross is a one-day stadium cross-country meeting held at the Fürstenbergstadion in Xanten. The event’s official notice (Ausschreibung) describes a compact, spectator-friendly lap known locally as "die Schnecke" that runs over multiple stadium levels and is clearly visible from the stands. The course surface is mixed — ash, grass and some sand — and the organisers explicitly note that spikes are suitable for running on the route. The meeting includes races for children, youth and senior runners and serves community and competitive runners alike.
Certain youth races are run as scoring rounds for the LVN-Cross-CUP, while other categories compete for age-group podium honours and finisher certificates. Online registration is handled via TAF-Timing and the event is organised by TuS Xanten 05/22 e.V., Leichtathletik. Practical facilities such as changing rooms and showers are available at the stadium, and the format is designed to be welcoming for families and spectators.
