The 7. Crailsheimer Halbmarathon is a community race day in and around Crailsheim that combines hilly loop courses and forest trail sections with a festival atmosphere. The programme features multiple distance options including a half marathon (≈21.0975 km), a 10.6 km quarter, a three-person relay (Staffel) and a Nordic Walking category, together with youth races (Bambini and Schülerlauf). The event is organised by Förderverein Leichtathletik Crailsheim e.V., promoted with Syntegon Burgberglauf branding, and information and registration are published on the official event website.
Routes use a mix of asphalt and Wald- und Wiesenwege through the Burgbergwald and nearby villages, offering notable elevation changes and scenic forest-and-meadow character that distinguish the event from purely urban road races. The weekend includes festival activities such as food trucks, an evening Maultaschen party and a salsa party, creating a spectator-friendly occasion beyond the races themselves. Practical details such as exact start times, participant categories, entry inclusions and prize awards are provided on the event pages and linked result/registration portals.
Community-focused additions include a 16-week “Laaf Los!” training programme preparing participants for the main event, youth running categories, and local club involvement (Förderverein Leichtathletik Crailsheim e.V. together with TSV Crailsheim).
