The 79. Viersener Herbstwaldlauf "Rund um den Bismarckturm" 2026 (organised by LG 1947 Viersen e.V.) is an autumn road and cross-country running event staged at Stadion Hoher Busch in Viersen, Nordrhein-Westfalen. The event retains its historic local identity (historic event since 1947) and is centred on a compact, spectator-friendly course around the landmark Bismarck Tower. The 2026 edition is scheduled for 10 October 2026.
Distances for 2026 include a 10 km main race, a 5 km option for adults, a 2.1 km SchülerInnen race, a 0.6 km Bambini race, plus walking categories including a 7.25 km Nordic walking course and a separate 7.25 km walking category. The course is described as a measured competition course; races include multiple youth and masters age categories.
