Kurpark Werl, Hammer Str., Werl, 59457, Germany
The 6. Werler Kurpark Crosslauf (also promoted as Kurparkcross Werl) is a family-friendly obstacle cross run staged in the Werl Kurpark. On 5 September 2026 the sixth edition will bring together cross‑country terrain and constructed on-course obstacles for participants of all ages. The event is organised by DJK Grün‑Weiß Werl e. V. and places emphasis on fun, teamwork and an adventurous atmosphere rather than elite competition. It is promoted as accessible to families, children and recreational runners while still offering a sporting challenge for endurance participants.
Racing formats for 2026 include a 400 m children’s run and a roughly 6.4 km main course, each featuring multiple named obstacles such as TEMPEL RUN, CLIMB THE WALL and WATERLAGON. The organiser publishes results and a photo gallery after the event and advises caution on slippery sections ("Bitte abbremsen, es besteht Rutschgefahr!"). Registration is typically opened on the event website in April; start times and detailed race‑day logistics are published nearer the date on the official pages. For precise schedules and practical information participants should consult the event homepage and the DJK Grün‑Weiß Werl club pages.
