The 57th Engadin Skimarathon is the flagship race of the Engadin Skimarathon series, staged on the classic 42 km course from Maloja to S-chanf. Held on the second Sunday in March, the event is promoted on the organiser’s official site as Switzerland’s largest mass sporting event and one of the world’s biggest cross‑country skiing marathons. The race combines mass participation with a competitive elite field and forms part of the wider Marathon Week programme, with detailed maps, regulations and wave allocation published by the organiser.
Participants benefit from the Marathon Village infrastructure in Pontresina and official race services, while start lists, rankings and registration are handled via the Datasport portal referenced on the event pages. The route is notable for its scenic Upper Engadin lakes and village passages and the organiser publishes multilingual regulations and planning PDFs to assist international entrants. For 2027 the official event page and registration link are provided on the Engadin Skimarathon website.
Start: Maloja — Finish: S‑chanf, Engadin, Graubünden, Switzerland
