Neue Mittelschule Ebbs, Wildbichler Str. 34, 6341 Ebbs, Tyrol, Austria
The 56. Ebbser Koasamarsch is a combined walking and trailrunning event held in Ebbs in the Kaisergebirge; the organiser presents multiple timed trail races alongside non-timed mountain walks on 13 June 2026. The event (referred to on the official site as "56. Ebbser Koasamarsch") features a broad range of routes from short valley walks to the KOASA-55 Panorama Trail, and attracts both hikers and mountain runners seeking alpine terrain. Several trail variants include substantial altitude gain and marked aid stations, while the festival-style start/finish area provides local culinary offerings and a communal atmosphere. The organiser emphasises nature-protection rules for the Kaisergebirge and limits overall entries to protect the reserve.
The logistical hub and start/finish area are at the Neue Mittelschule (Mittelschule) Ebbs with on-site services such as bib collection, luggage depot, showers and massage facilities for participants. Trail events are accompanied by mandatory briefings and specified safety equipment lists, with mountain rescue and medical cover on the route; GPX tracks and route signage are provided for all variants. A race-timing service (RaceResult) runs the competitive results and prize ceremonies are scheduled for the main trail races on race day. Registration windows, participant cap (1,200), group discounts and detailed route pages are published on the official event site and the dedicated RaceResult registration pages.
