The 51^ edizione 100 KM DEL PASSATORE (commonly known as 100 KM del Passatore) is a historic point-to-point ultramarathon running from Firenze to Faenza. The race is a long-standing Italian event founded in 1973 and is presented as an afternoon departure that continues into the following day, offering a distinctive overnight endurance challenge through towns and the Apennine landscape. Organisers emphasise tradition, community and a shared story across the route, with staggered start “gabbie” and staffed intermediate checkpoints.
The official route begins in central Florence and finishes in Piazza del Popolo in Faenza, with multiple intermediate aid stations, medical and support facilities along the course. The event is managed by Associazione Sportiva Dilettantistica 100Km del Passatore and uses an online registration portal with a capped field size; supplementary services such as bus transfers and clothing-change points are offered. Participants are expected to meet the race regulations and medical requirements published on the organiser’s site.
