The 49. Limes‑Winterlaufserie brings a classic winter road‑running atmosphere to Pohlheim, with the opening 10 km taking place on largely firm, surfaced paths. Registration is online only and closes the evening before, with bib collection from 12:30 in the sports hall of the Adolf‑Reichwein‑Schule. Race Result provides chip timing and same‑day results with printable certificates available online after the finish.
Runners can enjoy tea at the finish and additional snacks and drinks in the hall, while showering options include cold showers on site and warm showers at the nearby indoor pool using a free shower voucher. Spiked shoes are not permitted, and participants should be prepared for winter conditions, including possible snow or ice. Professional event photography will be offered, with free download links published after the race on the organiser’s website.
