The 49. Lembecker Galgenberglauf is a traditional community running event held in the Naturpark Hohe Mark and staged by the local club SV Lembeck. The race takes place largely on forest paths and lightly graded trails, with several distances for children, youth, walkers and adult runners that wind through scenic woodland. The organiser promotes a natural race experience amid gentle hills and partly gravelled tracks, emphasising a friendly atmosphere rather than elite competition.
On Sunday 6 September 2026 the programme includes multiple mass-starts and youth races, plus walking and Nordic walking options, with the first races beginning in the morning from the Wandererparkplatz Napoleonsweg. Practical details such as online registration (Raceresult) and same-day late entry are noted on the official SV Lembeck page, and refreshments are provided at the start/finish area. Results, certificates and honour prizes for top finishers are part of the event services for participants of all ages.
