The 44. Fontane-Lauf (Fontane Run) is an annual road and trail running event organised by Sportgemeinschaft Rauen 1951 e.V. and scheduled for 18 April 2026 in Rauen. The event is traditionally held around the local school (Grundschule Rauen / Schule, Schulstraße 3) and is presented as the 44th edition of the Fontane-Lauf. It offers a range of distances to suit families, walkers and competitive runners, including main races of 30 km, 15 km and 5 km, a short 2.5 km distance (Kinder‑Cup eligible), a dedicated 10 km walking route and a Bambini side race.
Race day opens at 09:45 with staggered race starts from 10:00 onwards (multiple start times for different distances). Registration and official timing services are managed via Berlin-Timing — online registration opens 01 December 2025 and closes in April 2026; registrations become valid only after payment has been received. On-site late entries are possible for a small surcharge. SG Rauen members may be authorised to enter without a start fee for eligible distances, and group (Sammelanmeldung) registrations are supported.
The event provides on-course aid stations, changing / shower facilities at the venue and formal prize awards for category winners. Live results are posted at the venue when an internet connection is available. The race is run with classifications for the Oder‑Spree Cup and the Kinder‑Cup, making it relevant for cup competitors as well as local runners and walkers.
