36th Spreewald Triathlon

The 36. Spreewald Triathlon (Spreewald-Triathlon) takes place at the Badestrand Briesensee on 30 May 2026 and is organised by Triathlon Spreewald e. V. The event features multiple race formats on the same day, including a full-distance format (Race A), a shorter full-distance (Race B), a Schnuppertriathlon for younger athletes (Race C) and a Familien-Staffel relay (Race D). DTU competition rules apply, wind-drafting is prohibited and dedicated safety cover is provided with lifeguards for the swim and medical personnel on site.

Race courses use lake swimming at Briesensee with guided kayaks on the swim, looped cycling circuits through the local villages and lakeside running laps with aid stations. The event operates a single fenced transition area, chip timing and a limited field (participant cap) with online-only registration and a defined closing date in mid‑May. Practical services for competitors include packet pick-up on race morning, sanitary and shower facilities and designated parking with a shuttle to the event site.
