The 34. Dreiländerlauf (34th Three-Country Run) is a single-day running festival with start and finish on Basel's Marktplatz. The event is organised by Regio Basiliensis and brings together three road race distances—marathon, half marathon and 10 km—each featuring a scenic, cross-border route through Switzerland, France and Germany. Participants should expect a route that highlights central Basel streets and historic bridges with multiple crossings of the Rhine.
The course is notable for its international character and four Rhine crossings, beginning and ending at the Rathaus/Marktplatz in Basel and routing through Saint-Louis (France) and Weil am Rhein (Germany) before returning to Basel. Online registration is offered via the event website and the dedicated race portal, with early-bird entry fees and start packages that explicitly include a finisher T-shirt and a finisher medal. Exact start times and detailed operational information (waves, cut-offs) are published on the organiser and race pages.
