The Urbachallenge (presented as the 3. Urbachallenge) is a community running event held in Orbe and organised by Vélo Club Orbe. It takes place on 28 November 2026 and features multiple race formats for adults and children. The primary course is 9.4 km with 220 m of elevation gain and 220 m of elevation loss, offering a firm hilly challenge for participants. Information on the event pages is bilingual (French and German), reflecting local language use and bilingual race descriptions.
Races on the day include a solo 9.4 km, a two-person relay over the same 9.4 km course with four tours where teams may split legs 2/2 or 1/3, and a kids' race of 0.5 km with either one or two laps depending on age. Registration opens on 1 July 2026 via the organiser's event page, with detailed entry fees and category information published there.
