The 29. Hohenschönhausener Gartenlauf is a long-running, community-oriented running event held within the Kleingartenanlage Falkenhöhe‑Nord in Hohenschönhausen, Berlin. The event combines a family-friendly garden setting with a programme of short and middle-distance races for all ages, including a Bambini race and school/entry-level runs. Entrants are required to register online; special entry arrangements (for example free starts for HOWOGE tenants and waived entry for younger age groups) are noted on the organiser's pages.
Organised in association with the local running club LC RON‑HILL Berlin e.V., the Gartenlauf is integrated into the Berliner Läufercup for selected distances and attracts both club competitors and community participants. The organiser publishes route maps, archived results and PDF reports (including course records and winners) for many editions. Results and timing are handled via the Ziel‑Zeit service.
Race day typically features food and music, on-site toilet provision and nearby showers/change facilities; the organisers publish a Haftungsausschluss (waiver) and require a participation declaration. The event takes place in all weather; entrants are encouraged to use public transport because parking at the site is limited.
