Start/Finish: St. Veit an der Gölsen, Lower Austria, Austria
The 27. Voralpen Marathon is the season‑opening mountainbike marathon held in St. Veit an der Gölsen and forms part of the KTM Mountainbike Challenge series. This edition presents the traditional spring setting of the Voralpen, with organiser text highlighting moderate climbs, mostly grippy surfaces and only a few technically demanding descents in a scenic early‑spring landscape. The event is organised by the Marktgemeinde St. Veit an der Gölsen and is promoted as an ideal course to shake off the winter break for a broad range of riders.
The race day offers two official routes — SMALL (32 km, 1,000 m ascent) and CLASSIC (64 km, 2,000 m ascent) — both starting on 19 April 2026 with staggered schedule details published on the event pages. Practical information published by the organisers includes bib collection times, an online registration deadline (online entries close 16 April with late entries allowed for an extra fee), an event village with a festival tent at the start/finish area and podium prizes for the top three in each class. Entrants and interested participants are directed to the KTM Mountainbike Challenge website and the organiser contact addresses for registration, results and further logistics information.
