The 23. Neuruppiner Langstreckenschwimmen (Langstreckenschwimmen Ruppin) is an annual long-distance open-water swimming event held on the Ruppiner See near Neuruppin. It is organised by DRK-Kreisverband Ostprignitz-Ruppin e.V. with the local Wasserwacht team and traces its origins to a 1999 swim by two lifeguards from Wustrau to Alt-Ruppin. The race attracts open-water swimmers and local spectators and is accompanied by community activities including a family festival. The 2026 edition is scheduled for 8 August 2026.
Participants are directed to the event Ausschreibung and the Streckenübersicht for official route, rules and entry details, while online registration is handled via the linked MyRaceResult system. The event features live streams of the starts and award ceremony, a sponsor programme and a historical results archive dating back to 2000. Exact start times, waves and participant inclusions are published in the organiser's information documents and are not specified on the summary page.
