MTB Marathon Pfronten (officially listed as "23. MTB Marathon Pfronten am 13.06.26") is a single-day mountain-bike festival in Pfronten in the Allgäu Alps, Germany. The event offers multiple certified routes that traverse forest roads, single-track sections and alpine climbs, with a shared start/finish hub at Leonhardsplatz and summit finishes at the Breitenberg Bergstation. For 2026 the programme lists three core MTB routes (Kurzstrecke, Marathonstrecke, Extremstrecke) plus the Klapprad WM, giving riders a choice of distances and difficulty within the same race day.
The 2026 edition also incorporates the Bavarian Championship (Marathon XCM) for the appropriate licence categories and features the spectator-friendly Klapprad WM, a quirky folding‑bike hill race. Practical details published on the organiser pages include bib collection at Mittelschule Pfronten, race starts from about 09:30 on 13 June 2026, Racesolution timing with an integrated disposable transponder, multiple aid stations, a pasta voucher in the start pack and official race photography via Sportograf. The organiser provides competition rules, route GPX files and arrival information on the event site for competitors to check before race day.
