The 20. ENTEGA HEINERMAN brings triathlon back to Darmstadt’s Großer Woog on Sunday, 28 June 2026. Start, transition and finish are all located on the Woog grounds, creating an intimate setting where spectators can follow the action up close. Athletes can choose between Olympic and Sprint distances, both offered for individuals and relay teams. A Top 50/Top 30 mass start leads each distance before athletes enter the water in a smooth rolling start format.
The bike course is a fully closed, non-drafting out-and-back route towards Dieburg, with two laps for the Olympic and one for the Sprint. The run heads across the Oberfeld to the Oberwaldhaus and back, offering fast, straightforward racing. Timekeeping is delivered by Time2finish, with water on the run and finish-line refreshments including isotonic drinks and fruit. Showers and changing facilities are available at the lake, and participants receive a quality gift such as a shirt.
The event follows DTU regulations and is supported by officials, Malteser medical services and water safety from DLRG. Prize money is awarded to the top three men and women over both distances, and the Heinerman Jackpot adds extra excitement for repeat winners. Clear transition procedures and an 11:00 bike cut-off help keep the day running smoothly. With strong local tradition and modern organisation, it’s a highlight just before the Darmstädter Heinerfest.
