On Saturday, October 11, 2025, Citizens Medical Center will host the 9th Annual Citizens Run Against Cancer Half-Marathon and 5K in Victoria, Texas! All proceeds from this event benefit local patients who are battling cancer.
The race route was designed to showcase the heart of Victoria, starting in Downtown Victoria, through Riverside Park, and ending at DeLeon Plaza. Visitors are encouraged to stay the weekend and explore all that Victoria has to offer, including camping, fishing, kayaking, shopping, and historical sightseeing.
Half marathon and Relay begin at 7:30am. 5K begins at 8:00am.
5K: $30, Half Marathon: $70, Half Marathon Relay: $100. Price increases after September 21, 2025 at 11:59pm CDT.
Thursday, 10/09/2025 & Friday, 10/10/2025 4pm-7pm at the Citizens HealthPlex, 9406 NE Zac Lentz Pkwy, Victoria, TX 77904.
Participants are encouraged to bring their registration confirmation and any necessary gear for the race.
Team contest & parade at 7:45am to show off your creative costumes and team names. Awards will be given for most spirited, creative name & best costume. Maximum time allowed for the Half Marathon and Relay is four hours.
Awards will be given for various categories including overall winners and age group winners.
Parking will be available in One O'Connor Plaza parking garage before 6:30am. Also, parking is available on numerous side streets surrounding the course.
