The 20 km de Montpellier is a community-driven road running festival organised by the Lions Club Montpellier Languedoc, held at Domaine d'O in Montpellier. The event (20 km de Montpellier) for 2026 offers multiple formats on the same day: the classic 20 km individual race, a demi-parcours (10 km), a two-person relay (2 × 10 km) and team challenges for clubs, companies and schools. It emphasises charitable fundraising and local engagement, with proceeds historically supporting Handisport and other local causes. The race village (Village Partenaires) at Domaine d'O provides partner stands and a central hub for logistics and participant services.
Entry requires a validated Parcours Prévention Santé (PPS) attestation or accepted athletic licence; medical certificates are no longer used. Official timing is by chip at the finish with a simultaneous gun start, and the main 20 km and relay departures are published for 09:30 on race day. Bib collection is available the day before and on race morning, and participants benefit from numbered bib desks, aid stations every 5 km, changing rooms and tram access for the relay exchange at kilometre 10. The course is a marked public-road route (total D+ reported at 204 m) with downloadable GPX/KML files and post-race results and photo galleries published on the organiser site.
