The 1. Lauf — Wiener Sommerlaufcup 2026 (Prater) is the opening leg of the Wiener Sommerlaufcup series held in Vienna's historic Prater. Runners may enter a single 7 km race or a half marathon, with the 7 km course described as one 7 km lap and a 97.5 m extension on the third lap's hairpin for longer formats. The event contributes points to the overall four-race cup classification and is aimed at adult competitors in multiple age categories.
The race starts at 08:30 and uses TIME NOW SPORTS OG for official timing and results publication. On-site late registration is possible until 08:15 at the start/finish area and refreshments are provided in the start and finish zone. Shower facilities are available at Stadionbad (fee) and at Strandbad Alte Donau, and cup standings are published on sommerlaufcup.at within four days of the race.
