19th Citylauf Telgte on 26 September 2026 – Running through Town, Country and River

The 19. Citylauf Telgte (Citylauf Telgte) is a one-day community running festival on 26 September 2026 that showcases a scenic route through Telgte’s Altstadt, the Emsaue and neighbouring countryside. The event combines competitive races and inclusive fun runs, with distances from a Bambini sprint through to a 10,000-metre Hauptlauf, and links into the regional Volksbank-Cup-Laufserie. Organised by TV Friesen Telgte and Lauftreff Telgte, the day emphasises a family-friendly atmosphere, local sponsorships and visible community engagement.

Racing begins in the afternoon at the Sportplatz Schulzentrum and includes children’s races, a non-timed Hilbk&Blome Augenoptik Fun Run, a 5 km Takko-Fashion race and the 10 km Volksbank-Hauptlauf, plus a 7.5 km walking option. Practical participant information such as the Streckenübersicht (course maps), Anmeldung (registration) and Ergebnisse & Urkunden (results and certificates) are published on the official site, and the organisers publish photos and participant lists after the event.
