Marktplatz, Bad Mergentheim
The 19. Stadtlauf Bad Mergentheim is scheduled for Saturday 18 April 2026 and is organised by K&K GbR in cooperation with the Stadt Bad Mergentheim. The event ("19. Stadtlauf Bad Mergentheim") features a newly designed city-centre route that brings runners through historic streets, the Schloss- and Kurpark and finishes on the Marktplatz. Course plans for 2026 are published on the official site and include a measured 5 km loop and a 1.1 km inner-city circuit with the finish on the Marktplatz.
The race day is a multi-distance programme for all ages, combining a half marathon (with relay options), 10 km and 5 km races together with an extensive children’s and school programme including Bambini and Schul Cup categories. Online registration opens 1 February 2026 and the organiser publishes registration rules and T-shirt allocation details on the Anmeldung page; on-site late registration is possible from the Marktplatz on race day. The event is community-focused, backed by local sponsors (for example Stadtwerk Tauberfranken and AOK) and publishes official route PDFs and course-measurement notes on the event website.
