The 15. Warburger Diemellauf is a one-day road running meeting held at Sportzentrum Diemelaue in Warburg, centred on the Sportplatz Diemelaue start/finish area. The programme on 28 March 2026 covers a family-friendly Bambini race and several 1,000 m youth races plus longer individual distances of 5.9 km, 10.75 km and 21.9 km, offering options for recreational runners and competitive athletes alike. The event is organised by Warburger SV and forms part of the Lauf zum Hochstift-Cup, with course guidance available via published Strava routes for each distance.
Online registration opens in February and closes shortly before the event with on-site late entries permitted up to 45 minutes before each start; race numbers and a reusable timing chip are issued to non‑Hochstift‑Cup runners (the chip requires a refundable deposit). Winners on the long distances receive the traditional Warburger Brause Träger prize and age-group medals and certificates are awarded for the youth races, while results are published via Race Result and the organiser website. Facilities at the venue include changing rooms, showers and toilets, and limited parking is available with public transport access from Warburg station on foot.
