The event titled "13. Berliner Vollmond-Ultramarathon und 11. Berliner Vollmond-Halbmarathon am 29. August 2026" is a single-day running event in Berlin offering two distances: an ultramarathon of 46.0 km and a half marathon of 21.1 km, with staggered starts on the afternoon of 29 August 2026. Both races start from Sportzentrum Siemensstadt (Buolstraße 4) and have dedicated start times (Ultramarathon 16:00, Halbmarathon 17:00) with packet pick-up available from 14:30 on race day. The event is organised under the Vollmondläufe brand by Freunde der Vollmondläufe (Kristin Drechsler & Jörn Künstner) and explicitly supplies GPX course files for both distances to aid route planning. Entry windows, tiered fees, on-site late registration and strict no-refund-if-not-starting rules are documented in the official race information.
The courses run through Berlin's north-west, with mixed terrain around Tegeler See and the Havel region, and are waymarked (ultramarathon in orange, half marathon in green) with supporting aid stations; participants are asked to bring their own collapsible cup. Finishers receive handmade medals and can download a printable certificate from the official results page, and prizes are awarded to the top three finishers. The organisers state participant limits for each race (Ultramarathon 100, Halbmarathon 250) and note that much of the proceeds benefit Schutzgemeinschaft Deutscher Wald (SDW) and fLotte Berlin (freie Lastenräder). Safety notes, traffic-law compliance and timing via chip in the bib are specified in the event's Ausschreibung and online information pages.
