The 11. Bergischer-Wupperlauf is a non‑competitive group run organised by Feinerlauf that presents four route options on a large circular course between Wuppertal and Solingen. The event day includes distances from 20 km to 50 km and is run in guided groups with an emphasis on relaxed, social pacing rather than racing; the official page explicitly states the event is not a competition. Participants are encouraged to preload GPX/KOMOOT routes and to respect trail etiquette and leash rules for dogs, while steep uphill sections are expected to be walked rather than run.
Start and logistics are centred on the Gartenhallenbad Wuppertal‑Cronenberg (Zum Tal 27) with organised check‑in from 07:40 and scheduled starts for the longer distances on the morning of 20 December 2026. The organiser provides on‑course aid stations at set kilometre markers, post‑event access to the pool and sauna until 18:00, and limited on‑site late registration (cash only) within the published windows. The event is capped collectively at 300 participants across runs and the wander, and the organiser stresses safety, group guidance and enjoyment of the natural trail terrain throughout the day.
