10th Haager Market Run

Der 10. Haager Marktlauf is an annual town-centre running event held in Haag am Hausruck, Austria. The event combines a family-friendly programme of short children's races with a 5.4 km main race (Hauptlauf) that runs over a marked circuit around the Marktplatz. The event is organised by ÖTB Turnverein Haag/H. 1908 and forms part of the Traunviertler Laufcup, offering class prizes and a lively market-festival atmosphere on race evening.

Races on 8 August 2026 cover multiple age groups from U6 sprints through to the main 5.4 km town circuit, with on-site services such as bib collection at the Gemeindeamt, refreshments in the finish area, changing and shower facilities at the nearby Schulzentrum, and medical cover provided. Timekeeping is conducted via the TIME2WIN app service rather than chip timing, with prize-giving and a material prize draw after the races. The event is promoted as spectator-friendly and integrated with local market activities around the Marktplatz.
